Melissa Bondurant, DVM

Melissa Bondurant, DVM

Dr. Bondurant is a native of Atlanta and graduated from the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She purchased Webb Bridge Animal Hospital in 1998 and built a brand new facility in 2010. In her spare time, she can be found gardening or caring for her beehives. She received her Master Beekeeper Certification in 2013. She has one cat named Mark Black, and a border collie named Gage. She enjoys caring for her clients' pets and helping them to live longer, happier, and healthier lives.

 

Erin Kennedy, DVM

Erin Kennedy, DVM

Dr Kennedy graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She has been working at Webb Bridge Animal Hospital since 2002. She is married with two sons who keep her busy at her second job as a soccer mom! She currently has one awesome mixed breed dog named Striker and a food motivated cat named Panini. She enjoys getting to know our clients and their pets as we navigate with them from puppy/kittenhood to geriatric care.

Born and raised in New York, Sasha began her career in a small animal practice where she became a veterinary assistant. She's lived in Alpharetta for the past 7 years with her two sons, two cats Ollie and Punkin and Pittie named Remy. She started with us in the Spring of 2017 and immediately felt at home. She plans on furthering her career and ultimately becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. When Sasha is not at Webb Bridge you can usually find her doing something fun outside or on the Greenway with her crazy boys.

 

Samantha Veterinary Assistant

Samantha was born in York, PA and moved to Georgia when she was 12. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Winder. They have two pets: Isaboo, a Pug and Ethel, an English bulldog. She has been working at Webb Bridge Animal Hospital since 2002, and loves it here.

 

Karen Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant

Karen was born and raised in the Alpharetta, GA area. She spent a few years in the corporate world, but couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. Karen had always had a passion for animals and she knew she needed to have a career that involved helping them. After leaving the corporate world in 2019, Karen joined the Webb Bridge family as a receptionist in June. A few months later, Karen accepted the opportunity to become an Assistant and fell completely in love with the position and the team. Karen currently resides in Cumming. She loves going on hikes in the North Georgia Mountains with her Miniature Schnauzer, Kirby.

 

Caitlyn

Caitlyn

Caitlyn was born and raised in Alpharetta Georgia and has dreamed of working with animals since she was little. She currently attends Georgia State University and lives at home with her two shih tzus. In her free time she likes to read and go to the gym.

 

Darius Receptionist

Born and raised in South Georgia, Darius moved to Atlanta in summer of 2017. He loves animals and spending time with his own fur baby at home. He started working at Webb Bridge Animal Hospital in June of 2021 and fell in love with the staff and doctors. We are so happy Darius is a part of our caring family!

 

Makayla

Makayla

Makayla has lived in North Georgia for the past 17 years, she joined Webb Bridge in November 2021. She has a deep passion for animals and is planning to pursue a career in the veterinary field as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Makayla has a mixed breed dog named Sasha who is loved dearly. She has loved being apart of the team and getting to know our clients and their fur babies. When she’s not at work, she loves to paint, hang with friends and family, and cuddle with her pup.

 

Luz Kennel Technician

Kennel Technician

Born and raised in Georgia. Luz started college at SCAD, and got a part time job at an animal hospital to help pay off student loans and maintain a life on campus. She ended up realizing how much happier she was with pets than going to class. Dropping out in the middle of a pandemic was a tough choice but the decision to change her career path completely has changed her life around. She is now certain she wants to go back to school as soon as possible and pursue a career as a veterinary technician. Luz has been working with Webb Bridge Animal Hospital since May 2021. She loves working in the kennel and when she is not at work she likes to go to car meets with her boyfriend, visit her parents or drive the project car in the North Georgia Mountains.

 

Meet Our Furry Friends

 

Gage

Gage

At 11 weeks old, Gage came to live with his mommy, Dr. Bondurant, in April 2014. He likes playing with all toys, shredding paper, and being chased by the clinic cats. He is loved and adored by all who meet him.

 

Tobias

Tobias

Tobias was found on the side of the road as a wee little kitten. He was nurtured and cared for by the Webb Bridge staff. He is mischievous and likes to open bags of food when no one is looking. He is so beloved by all of us that the clinic became his home.

 

Monroe

Monroe

Monroe was found on Roswell Road and I-285. She enjoys playing with water in the sink and kitty basketball; also known as, knocking things off the counter into the trash can. She can be found napping in various odd places throughout the clinic.
